Cookie Policy
Cookies and similar storage HTS Bill uses for sign-in, language, quota, and checkout
2026/08/14
Overview
HTS Bill uses cookies and similar browser storage so the site can sign you in, remember language, limit the free daily estimate, and complete Stripe checkout.
We do not use advertising cookies.
What we set
- Sign-in: session cookies from our auth provider so you stay logged in.
- Language:
NEXT_LOCALEif you choose English or Chinese. - Free estimate:
hts_qidwhen we cannot use a hashed IP, so the one-per-day limit can be applied on that browser. - Checkout: cookies Stripe needs when you subscribe.
We may also use a device signal to limit free-estimate abuse. That is for quota, not ads.
Analytics
In production, Plausible counts page views without an advertising cookie and without building an ad profile.
Managing cookies
Your browser can delete or block cookies. If you block essential cookies, sign-in, language, checkout, or the free-estimate limit may not work as expected.
Third parties
Google (sign-in), Stripe (payment), and Plausible (traffic counts) may set or read their own storage when you use those features. Read their policies for that part.
